Western Corridor

The Western Corridor is bound by Liverpool Street to the south, Daring Harbour to the west, the northern end of Barangaroo and York Street to the east.

Extending almost 1.5 kilometers from north to south, the precinct is home to 150 freehold buildings. 6 Premium buildings, 26 A grade Buildings, 59 B Grade buildings and 59 C grade buildings.

The insurance sector is a traditional occupant of the precinct along with shipping, professional services and IT sectors which are present in the precincts. In recent years, the precinct has seen the addition of Barangaroo at its northern end has seen multiple properties refurbished or rebuilt whilst retaining the period features of the original building, creating a great blend of the old and the new. 

Landmarks included developments along the harbor foreshore from darling park to Barangaroo as well as historic stores now converted and or being used as offices. Access to the precinct is by Wynyard and Town Hall rail stations, buses as well as by Ferry from Barangaroo. In 2024 the Barangaroo Metro station will also commence operations.
