CBD South

The Southern Precinct extends from Liverpool and Goulburn Streets in the north, to Pitt Street in the east adjacent to central railway station where it connects with Harris Street to the south and Harbour Street to the West.

Significantly smaller than the Core and Mid-town, the precinct features 47 freehold buildings, 2 A grade, 23 B grade and 22 C grade. These buildings are occupied by 2nd tier professional services firms and in addition, community and education services, medical, retail, and technical and vocational education users.

The precinct is none the less character filled, including the cinema and theatre districts, China Town and the University of Technology Sydney. Central Railway station is also a significant feature of the area around which is the focus of a State Government-led planning initiative to create Sydney's new Tech Hub.

Landmarks include UTS and the goods line walkway, Central station the law Courts and China Town
