Leading commercial property group Raine & Horne Commercial has established a new office in the heart of Sydney’s CBD at Level 17, 83 Clarence Street, which is set to take on the big guns of Sydney’s commercial property market.
“We had a mandate to buy, improve and sell commercial properties in inner Sydney,” Mr Dodaro said.
“By opening Raine & Horne Commercial Sydney CBD, we can now apply our knowledge and expertise on behalf of other investors and owner-occupiers.”
Underlining its determination to make a splash in the Sydney market, Raine & Horne Commercial Sydney CBD has already sold a development site at 17-35 Parramatta Road, Homebush for more than $6.5 million.
Mr Rando said investors would benefit from dealing directly with himself and Mr Dodaro rather than junior commercial agents.
“We will focus on sales and leasing and will compete for every commercial property transaction available,” Mr Rando said.
The team at Raine & Horne Commercial Sydney CBD is also excited by the prospect of operating in the Sydney commercial market with the majority of the Global Financial Crisis (GFC) seemingly in the past.
“The Sydney commercial market is strong, which is reflected in the growing numbers of transactions, with institutional clients such as banks, superannuation funds and property trusts leading the way,” said Mr Rando.
“The prospects are good for the next 12 to 18 months on the back of a stronger economic outlook and improved consumer confidence,” Mr Rando said.
“If the banks relax their lending requirements, the commercial market in Sydney will take off. It’s a case of watch this space.”
