Part-time Property Manager or Assistant PM - (20 hours per week)

Experience preferred, but not essential for the right candidate

Raine & Horne Kurralta Park is a successful boutique inner west real estate office with a dynamic and friendly culture looking for an experienced and motivated Property Manager to join our established close-knit and award-winning team. Exceptional customer service is at the heart of what we do, supported by open and honest communication. To consistently deliver this, we prioritise manageable portfolio sizes for our team—ensuring every client receives the attention they deserve.

The successful candidate will be genuine, self-motivated, adaptable, and bring a friendly, positive attitude. Working alongside our experienced Senior Property Manager, they will manage their own portfolio (or assist our senior property manager if not experienced) as it grows, with the opportunity to increase hours in line with that growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end management of a residential property portfolio
  • Building and maintaining positive working relationships with landlords and tenants
  • Conducting entry, exit and routine inspections
  • Arrears management & control
  • Managing maintenance efficiently and proactively
  • Document preparation and coordinating leases, renewals and rent reviews
  • Rental open inspections and tenant screening & selection
  • Preparing bond refunds and tribunal representation if required
  • Ensuring compliance with SA legislation

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified in Residential Property Management – Current SA registration
  • Experience in residential property management preferred, but not essential
  • Hold a current drivers’ licence and reliable car 
  • An understanding of new technology & a readiness to embrace it
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
  • Ability to show initiative, work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
