Hayley Nicholls

Hayley began her journey through the real estate industry at just 17 years old as valuations administrative support  at McCann Property & Planning, before travelling and living in the UK.

Upon her return, Hayley obtained a Bachelor of Communications at the University of Canberra, Majoring in Journalism (Print). Hayley also completed minor units in Literary Studies and Business Management. Throughout her university years, Hayley continued to work in a wide variety of marketing and business administrative roles within Canberra’s residential and commercial real estate industry.

In 2009, Hayley joined the Marketing Department of Canberra’s leading building and construction industry association Master Builders Association (ACT) where she managed a busy calendar of industry training and events, sponsorships and marketing activities. 

Utilising her strong industry networks, Hayley has experience researching, writing and editing a variety of local real estate and lifestyle publications.

As PR & Marketing Manager for Canberra-owned and operated startup Allhomes, Hayley gained valuable experience in a multidisciplinary role managing a fast-paced environment of constant growth. Hayley managed advertising strategy and budgets, B2B and B2C communications, new market development and branding. In 2014, the successful start-up was sold to Fairfax Media’s Domain Group. 

Hayley has spent 6+ years managing partnerships for RSPCA Australia. This role centered around revenue-raising and cost-saving, whilst managing a number of highly-successful national corporate partnerships, suppliers, sponsorships, licensing agreements, workplace giving partnerships and other fundraising initiatives. 

With a wealth of real estate, business and marketing experience, as well as extensive local networks, Hayley and her husband Mark joined forces to launch Raine & Horne Commercial Canberra in July 2022.
