Vanessa, a highly regarded member of our team, began her first chapter with us in 2001. After departing in 2007 to broaden her experience and pursue new opportunities, she rejoined in 2016, bringing back a wealth of invaluable knowledge and expertise. Vanessa now holds a pivotal role within Raine & Horne Commercial Retail Services, managing the marketing activities for her portfolio of neighbourhood shopping centres, overseeing marketing teams across New South Wales and Queensland, and leading corporate marketing initiatives for the Retail Services division.

With 15 years dedicated to the business, Vanessa’s extensive experience spans the marketing of regional retail centres, vocational education and the club industry. Her accomplished career includes a range of senior marketing and management roles across shopping centre marketing, education and the fast-paced consumer goods sector. Vanessa’s true passion lies in shopping centre marketing, where she excels in developing and executing strategic advertising and promotional campaigns designed to strengthen centre performance and retailer success.

Throughout her time with Retail Services, Vanessa has implemented significant marketing strategies for numerous shopping centres under management, including Southlands Shopping Centre, Maitland Central and various other centres across New South Wales and Queensland. Her expertise and commitment have played a key role in driving centre growth, increasing customer engagement and enhancing overall performance.

Beyond her marketing expertise, Vanessa also brings strong training capabilities. As a qualified trainer, she has delivered Business qualifications at TAFE NSW for several years, contributing to the professional development of emerging industry professionals.

Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Business (Marketing), a Diploma of Business Administration and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. These qualifications reflect her commitment to continuous professional development and her dedication to delivering outstanding results.

Actively involved in community and charity fundraising initiatives, Vanessa’s commitment to giving back reflects her genuine passion for making a positive impact.
