June 22, 2020

Business development whiz, Tina Ashton and operations expert Katrina Tarrant are the new Network Managers overseeing office management, recruitment and retention in NSW & ACT.

The experienced Wendy Rosenbaum is the new Network Manager for Queensland, where she is responsible for business support and development, and will continue to report to Queensland General Manager, Steve Worrad.

Andrew Brien, Head of Network, Raine & Horne Group, said the new titles recognise the exciting opportunities for the Superbrand in NSW and Queensland and the professionalism and results that Ms Ashton, Ms Tarrant and Ms Rosenbaum have delivered to their offices since joining the Group.

“The new titles for Tina, Katrina and Wendy are a reflection of their remits to drive the profitability of our offices and to get cut-through with our industry-leading products and services,” Mr Brien said.

Ms Ashton and Ms Tarrant will manage around 150 offices between them and coordinate office support, training, and growth in NSW and the ACT.

“In addition to managing existing offices, Tina and Katrina will leverage their natural skills. Katrina will focus on operations and performance while Tina continues to drive business development, which has contributed to our unprecedented growth of around 150 offices nationally in the last five years,” Mr Brien added.

Dynamic duo has contributed to massive office growth in NSW and ACT

Over the past five years, the dynamic duo has rolled out some fantastic initiatives such as an office recruitment guide. They also have developed a training calendar has delivered headline trainers such as Josh Phegan and Caroline Bolderston, as well as Department of Fair Trading real estate licencing training.

“Katrina and Tina, have collaborated seamlessly for a long time, have more than 50 years of combined real estate industry experience and a long-standing alliance with Raine & Horne working within our Group,” Mr Brien said.

Ms Ashton started her real estate career in the mid-1990s and has worked for several offices, including a 6-year stint as a licensee.

In 2013, Ms Ashton joined the Raine & Horne Group in Queensland as a Business Support and Development Manager, and over the past seven years has been a significant contributor to the firm’s office growth. This expansion includes the recent launch of Raine & Horne Potts Point, operating from an uber-plush office in effervescent McLeay Street, Potts Point.

Ms Tarrant, who has a strong operations background, also began in real estate in the mid-1990s and has 15 years of agency experience as an agent and principal. Her resume also includes a decade working in Corporate roles including the last five years with Raine & Horne in business support and development.

Ms Ashton said, “The point of difference for Raine & Horne is our focus on modern technology and delivering industry-first products such as our exclusive social media marketing platform, Amplify.

“We have also rolled out our industry-first digital listing and appraisal platform Digikit, and our CRM, developed by VaultRE and intranet that our new offices are confirming is second to none.

“But at the end of the day, our principals also want old-fashioned support, be able to ask questions, seek business advice and know that we are with them every step of the way. We are delivering on these requirements in spades.”

Ms Tarrant said, “My focus for our offices is to help develop them as customer-centric, process-driven businesses with innovation at the forefront of everything they do.

“Results matter in real estate but first and foremost people matter, and I want our clients to be raging fans of our brand and our staff operating as proud ambassadors for Raine & Horne.”
