When I moved to Newcastle from Dubbo in 1998 as an 18 year old, I stepped into the doors of the real estate office and commenced work as a property officer. Little did I know that all these years later I would still be in the game; albeit as a commercial & industrial sales agent.

People told me along the way that property “gets in your blood”. I thought for many years that this was just an old cliché that people just liked to say, but as time has passed I can now agree that it does get in your blood and becomes part of you and your way of life.

Having experienced property as a property manager, residential sales agent and as a commercial agent, I have seen all sides of life and it has certainly taught me that it takes all sorts to make the world go around. There’s another cliché!

Sport has always been a huge part of my life; both in teams and on an individual basis. I think this is a character trait that is found in all good sales people. Ambition, drive, motivation, determination – I know you’ve heard it all before……buts its true.

My wife and I have two kids that keep me busy (and broke). When I’m not working I am with my family or am staying fit playing some over 35’s soccer and oz tag.

Real estate is in my blood. In 2011 I established my own auctioneering business that fills up my Saturdays, keeps up my face to face contact with people and keeps me on top of the residential market as well.

I enjoy the negotiation side, the bringing together of people and I love the feeling of success. But most of all I enjoy hearing peoples stories and being part of their lives for a brief snap shot in time.

In a nutshell, I make a living out of leasing and selling other people’s property……..and I love it!
