The Entrance is traditionally the Central Coast's leading holiday area, situated at the entrance to Tuggerah Lakes. The Entrance is approximately 100 km north of the Sydney CBD and lies within the Local Government Area administered by Wyong Shire Council.
The Entrance is situated 16kms from the F3 freeway and is 16.6kms east of Wyong CDB.
The Entrance town centre has approximately 200 shops and services. These include Coles, Centrelink, Medicare, Commonwealth Bank, ANZ Bank, Westpac Bank. Real Estates, Legal, Accounting and Medical Offices are positioned along The Entrance Road and at the bottom of the main street the stores focus on the needs of the tourists with fashion, fishing Equipment, restaurants and Cafes.
