Mansfield – A comparatively new, mainly residential suburb located about 13km south-east of Brisbane’s CBD.  It is home to Westfield Garden City, one of Brisbane’s most popular shopping centres and a large industrial estate in which an Australia Post mail delivery centre is located.

Mansfield is in an area now colloquially known as the ‘Bible Belt’ due to the large number of people who have settled there to be close to Christian schools and churches. The grounds of the Mount Gravatt Showgrounds are positioned on Logan Road, opposite the mega-church, Hillsong Brisbane Campus (formerly known as Garden City Christian Church).

– About 8km south of Brisbane’s CBD. The suburb is ideally situated for shopping and business, with many large or specialty stores and car yards along Logan Road. Mt Gravatt is positioned between Logan Road and the South East Freeway. Public transport is excellent public transport.

Mount Gravatt is home to Griffith University and the Moreton Institute of TAFE.
