FAMILY BUSINESS SEES BENEFIT IN MOVING CLOSER TO HOME

In a move to lighten the commute to the family business, an owner occupier has snapped up new premises in Capalaba.

A-Light Electrical Contracting has paid $1,537,000 for 126-126 Steel Street, Capalaba, with Raine & Horne Commercial’s Colin Tucker completing the transaction.

The freestanding building is appox. 800sqm on a 1350sqm site with great car parking and hardstand areas.

A-Light Electrical commenced business in 1996 and has moved from its previous home in Meadowbrook.

Colin Tucker said “they liked the fact this property had a high office component”.  “As well as expanding it’s also an investment but a driving factor was moving closer to home” he said.

Mr Tucker said there is definitely movement in the Capalaba industrial precinct at present.  “The biggest thing is that we are getting good pricing at the moment” he said.
