BrisVegas Machinery (part of Melbourne Tractors Group) have purchased 537 Boundary Road, Darra with plans to develop the site and occupy as their new home. The 9,068sqm corner allotment was snapped up for $2,300,000 + GST with Nick Comino and Greg Tate of Raine & Horne Commercial completing this transaction. 

General Manager of BrisVegas Kane Bennett said “we plan to establish a parts and service centre at the site once a 2,500sqm workshop with a small office is built”. 

“We looked at a lot of places from freestanding buildings to development sites,” Mr Bennett said.

“We believe that the normal title slab warehouse doesn’t work for us so we wanted to build our own and this corner site is perfect for our machines.”

Once constructed BrisVegas will move from their existing premises at 500 Freeman Road, Richlands which is not far from the site they have purchased.

BrisVegas is a leading dealer for brands such as Kobelco, New Holland Construction & Terex.

The site was owned for many years by a Melbourne based family.

Nick Comino of Raine & Horne Commercial said “we sold the site through a private treaty process and a number of groups looked at the site over a period of time.  The site ticked a lot of boxes for BrisVegas.”
